Techlearning.com and the Election

This article interested me because the election is coming in the fall, and even though I am in technology now, I was a social studies teacher for the previous 4 years. I am interested in finding ways to incorporate technology into a school wide election unit in the fall. This feed gave me more interesting sites to visit and gather information to prepare for the big event.

As I was skimming through the 668 entries in my Google Reader, I thought “Do I really want to look at all of these?” Once I tackled the task more like looking at a magazine, I realized that I only needed to seriously look at what interested me. A colleague told me about a new web 2.0 feature called Voki last week. I stumbled across an article about how to use this voice feature in my Edublogger feed. This interest me because the students can use this to orally blog as well.
